Almost Done.

It's sunny out there but not hot at all.
A little tired after trimming some overgrown shrubs.
Rosemary and Lavender are seen everywhere in the neighbourhood that nobody would want the "herbs up for grabs". There was no other option but to save only a handful of each and chucked the rest in the bin.

今日は晴れ。でも暑くはない。
伸び放題だった植え込みを選定した後、やや疲れ気味。
ローズマリーとラベンダーは近所のどこでも見当たるから、”ハーブタダで差し上げます”なんて言っても欲しい人はいないだろうから 一掴みほどずつ残して、後はごみとして処理するしかなかった。

I also trimmed the other kind of herb, which name I recently found out - wormwood, it is. Anyway it was supposed to be the pest repellent herb, so I was planning to recycle it to make some sachets and put them in the drawers and the wardrobes - but what a hell, I couldn't believe when I saw heaps and heaps of white flies and mozzies behind the branches. I had to ditch the plan straight away.

最近名前を知った他の種類のハーブも選定した。ニガヨモギっていう名前。
それなんだけど、虫除け効果があるはずだったのね。それで後で再利用して小袋に入れて引出しとか押入れに入れようと計画してたわけ。でも何なの、信じられない。植え込みの枝の後ろに羽虫や蚊がわんさかといるではないか。計画はすぐおじゃんにするしかなかった。


The last thing I was meant to do was to clear those creepers on the left side of the house by the partition fence. It's a narrow area and they are spreading behind cactus plants and shrubs which makes the job harder. The roots are strong, and the stems are hard to cut with hands, plus the idea of having to crawl around the area where the flies are going all berserk, seemed crazy. Well, what I had done was enough for today.

最後に本当は家の左側の柵の脇に生えてるつる植物を取り除かなきゃなんないはずだったのね。狭いとこで、サボテンとか低木の裏にはびこってしまっているから仕事は大変。根は強いし、茎は手で切るのは難しいし、それに羽虫の集団ががぶんぶん飛び交っている中を這い回るのはバカな考えに思えた。 ま、今日の仕事はこれで充分かな。

The relief is that everything else has been finished.
It's cooling down, nice and breezy. I'm going for a walk soon.

これでそれ以外の仕事は完了したからほっとした。
涼しくなってきた。そよ風が吹いてて気持ちよさそう。
ちょっと散歩に行ってくるね。
