Touch Wood.

According to my horoscope and other fortune telling, my lucky age is 40, which is next year! For the time being all I can is to keep myself busy, improve myself and by doing so I will be better prepared for the luck next year!!!(hopefully.)
Strange, this time the fortune telling thing has given me something to look forward to for my 40th birthday...hey it's not so bad to get older then?

As for the reason that I skipped a couple of days' entry, it was simply because I had nothing to write about. All this week for some reason has been busy, despite the fact that I don't have a job. Making calls, organising bits and pieces, domestic stuff, budgeting and so forth.
Well, if I were to get a paid job somewhere along the line, I'd have to get used to being busy. Although I don't know if 'getting a paid position' will ever happen again. Like most Japanese companies, many Australian companies in retail sector prefer young workers, from what I've heard.

It was my first day as a coordinator/supervisor today. Some people didn't know the change, and I didn't bother letting them know.
The day passed just as usual, only changes were having to answer the calls and say the right thing and being allowed to make more decisions. To be honest, there were couple of moments where I thought I could have handled with certain things better, but as a first day, I think I did ok.

I'm pleasantly surprised at myself that I've become a lot tougher than the same time last year that I hardly get jumpy anymore. I would have a seizure or two if I panic.
To prevent this from happening, I'd have to make sure a few things; for one, take plenty of rest at night (definitely); two, don't let stress or fear get in my way; three, don't let people get to me.
