Tearful bye-bye to Choc-kie.

It’s not about me going on a diet.

It’s all about last night’s footie-game. Collingwood vs. Port Adelaide.
The last night’s game was the very last for Port Adelaide coach (now ex. coach) Mark Williams (AKA. Choc or Choco)

He was the first and only coach who led Port Adelaide to Premiership in 2004.
It was the year my husband and I met and he is a Port fan. Until then, the team had never won Premiership, so you can easily imagine how surprised we were.

I have to confess that I didn’t know his name until yesterday when a Collingwood-fan customer told me that Port Adelaide coach was sacked.
The radio on the back was also telling the news.
Oh, how much I wished Port had won that game!

Sadly, even at the farewell game for the once beloved coach, they proved to be gutless and incompetent. The team lost to Magpie (Collingwood) by 26 points. *sob*

The irony is that the win pushed Magpie up to the top of the ladder, and they might even have the chance to win the Premiership.
(Still I would rather see Magpie or Saints winning than Geelong (Cats).)

7 consecutive loss that ended in another loss.
It was the saddest bye-bye I remember in years.
